Disney Series: Ariel - The Little Mermaid!

Hey Guys!
To make up for being MIA I've got another look for you! I will be gone for the next few days again as I'm travelling but I should be posting more on Tuesday!
So here's another look for the Disney Series! I promise I will put out some looks that aren't Disney inspired, but I'm loving them right now! haha
Annnd here it is...

ARRRRIEEEELLLLL! It's the only way to say it. As if you were a Jamaican Crab...
She's so awesome... I now want to watch The Little Mermaid so much! It's got to be one of the only Disney films I don't have on DVD!
So this is my look! Greens, purple and Red/Orange... that's pretty much her right? I tried to find some inspiration online but I found it so hard! Hope you guys like my interpretation! One of my boyfriend's friends gave me the idea to do Ariel (thankyou!) whilst we were at the secret garden party and she was dressed as a mermaid...

As always I went for my trusty Sleek eyeshadow palettes. I used E.L.F primer, then NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base, to make sure the colours stayed vibrant! The palettes I used were Matts V1 and the new i-Candy palette.

Eyeliner (which stains like a bitch) is from Collection 2000 and is in the shade Teal. Mascara as always in Mac's plush lash and Benefit's They're Real. Eyelashes are Eylure #100.
The little pearls (which I managed to cut off in this photo... well done Georgia, brilliant skills there) are from a Nail Art kit I picked up from either Topshop or River Island (I want to say the latter) and cost about £3 for a wheel with loads of different pretty gems in, these seemed to fit perfectly! I applied them using Duo Glue, which I picked up in the US for $5.
Just a few last pics, hope you liked my look! Completely out of ideas for the Disney Series at the moment so let me know in my comments below if you have any ideas, I would love to hear from you!
The purple looks so vibrant in this photo! No idea why it's come out so bright!

I hope you liked my version of Ariel!

Disney Series: Sully - Monsters University!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA for a while! I've been staying with my boyfriend and although I've brought my laptop with me (with the intention to blog) we've been so busy that I haven't even had time to turn it on! I've missed it so much!
But better late than never! I've had this look to post since before the film came out, so it's a tad late but I love Sully so much, I have to show you guys! And I'm completely in love with the Katy Perry Color Pop for Eylure Lashes! So here's the look!

APOLOGIES FOR THE HUGE GAPS! Blogger is being and arse and I can't work out why the gaps between the photos and the text are so big! If anyone knows how to fit please help! Sorry!
I kept him bright but simple! My main inspiration for doing sully, were the lashes! They were the perfect colour blue so it had to be done!

HE'S JUST SO FLUFFY! I went to see the film last week and loved it! Personally I don't usually like prequels but this was amazing, I loved finding out about their pasts and how it all started! Sucker for Disney...
So anyway, here's the look, I used my Sleek Matts V1 and some shades from the V2. Also Aura from The Glinda palette by Urban Decay. I LOVE that duo shade - its amazing! Puts the finishing touches to just about every look I do!

The Spots were a bitch! haha It was a lot harder than I expected it to be! I cut up teeny tiny pieces of cello tape and stuck them on once I'd primed and gone over my lids with NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk. however then trying to fill them in was a nightmare! I used a sparkly E.L.F eyeliner and then used the brightest purple shade from Sleek Matts V1 palette on a lip brush (because it was the toughest) to apply the shadow.

I absolutely love these lashes, but the biggest problem for me was the seam! It was so thick it make it impossible to glue on properly and there's no way I could have worn them out which is gutting because they were so pretty! I'm definitely going to have to hunt for the same type of style, but without the blue layer, as I think that's what made it so thick!

Look how pretty they are! It makes me almost want to cry... the style is just so perfect! I ran the same colour blue which is on the majority of my lids, along my waterline and used the same purple under my eye.

Still dying over the lashes... For my mascara I used Benefits They're Real - which I wasn't a huge fan of at first, but I've started using it over the top of my MAC plush lash and we're getting on alright at the moment... I love how it lengthens my lower lashes, makes me eyes look so much bigger!

So that's the look! I hope you guys like it, I'll try to get another look out soon! I haven't got any ready though so if anyone's got any ideas please let me know and I'll do my best for you! x x

Nicola Crawford Jewellery!

I'm very lucky to have the boyfriend that I have! He works in the public eye and managed to get me some amazing jewellery this week! I had to share it with you guys!

Nicola Crawford is a jewellery designer based in Kent, here's just a little snippet of what her website says about her work:

'Nicola designs romantic feminine jewellery inspired by her love of nostalgia each collection telling a story whilst retaining a contemporary look'
I'm awful at explaining, that makes life so much easier! All of her pieces are hand finished personally, which makes every piece unique!

For a start, how friggin cute are the boxes! Wax stamps and everythinggggg!

This was my first piece, from her Secret Garden collection. I loved the theme, and have always had a thing about keys! Goes with my Tiffany's Lock Ring really well! I've worn this necklace every day and have only taken it off to take these pictures! I'm absolutely in love with it!
Link HERE!

These cute keys were handcrafted from sterling silver, and one has been oxidised to add contrast, which I love! What I also like, which you often don't see, is that the chain can be put on 2 different lengths. So depending on the shape of the neck on what you're wearing, the necklace will sit perfectly either way!

My other piece, is this gorgeous, amazing, shiny, eye-catching, beautiful, freeking awesome Ivy Ring! Yep, I like it! It goes on every time I step out the front door and I am constantly getting compliments on it!

It has been cast from the imprint of a real leaf, and sits across two fingers. I love that the shank looks like the stem of the ivy! It makes it look so delicate and cute!
Link HERE!

It's so shiny! Can you tell the difference between the quality of Nicola Crawford and Tiffany's? No. Because there is none! If anything, the hard work and finishing touches of Nicola's work makes it so much nicer and more special.

Personally, I've always chosen silver over gold... but I did see the gold versions of both of these little beauts and they are soo stunning! Everything on her site is so pretty! It's definitely worth checking out her link > here < especially when there's free worldwide delivery and 30% OFF AT THE MOMENT! (just enter the code SUMMER at the checkout) Check it out, NOWWWWWWW!

Colour Pop for Green and Blue Eyes!

Hey Guys!
I really wanted to see what I could come up with using Aniseed from my Sleek i-Candy palette, because it's such an unusual colour with a beautiful shimmer, but red isn't an easy eyeshadow to use!
Unless you're going big and bright, I find it hard to fit into a look, however it does work really well with blue-greeny eyes, and makes them pop!
So, what I've done is added it into a smoky brown look! I hope you like it :)

I used so many different palettes, I don't know where to start! I used Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 palettes, Sleek i-Candy, Beauty UK palette, Urban Decay Glinda Palette (I used the amazing gold under my lash line) and a single Mac shadow, which came out at Christmas in one of their Duos called Baby it's cold outside.

I used Urban Decay 24/7 pencil eyeliner in Perversion on my waterline and Collection 2000's extreme liner in Black to create a winged look.
Sorry about the slight yellow shadow under my lashes! I have a new light bulb which gives amazing white light but it's in a yellow lamp so it shows up a bit! Will have to get a new white one!

Aniseed left a very pretty glittery finish on my eyelid, I love how it mixed so well with the brown base I used, so it wasn't too red! My lashes are Eylure #100.
Just a few snaps below! I love how my eyes look so bright! Giving the red tint to my brown smoky eye definitely gave them an edge! And I love how the lashes looked in the third photo, love them!

Just a super quick smoky eye for you! I think I need to start doing more looks! I couldn't do them at night because my lighting was too yellow however since I put a new weird curly energy saving light bulb in my lamp, I've got amazing white light! Will definitely be doing more looks in the future!

Hope you like it! x

Sleek i-Divine i-Candy Palette Review!

Hey guys!
I know I'm a little behind on this, but I live on an Island, give me a break!
Sleek recently brought out a new Candy Collection which featured the most amazing i-Divine palette, containing 12 bright summery shades. The colours quickly caught my attention, like a child in a sweet shop, and there were only 2 palettes left! And I'm very fortunate enough to have a boyfriend who spoils me (yes, I know you're reading this Stewart!).

You can buy this palette for £7.99 by clicking right here!

The palette has a mixture of finishes including matte, shimmer and pearl. It has their standard matte black which seems to come in a lot of their palettes so I was a bit disappointed to see it's return but it's very appropriate name makes up for it in some ways I guess!
These are all the colours quickly swatched over Urban Decay Primer Potion under natural light
L-R Top to Bottom
Strawberry Sherbet - Is a matte Barbie-esque pink
Bon Bon - A very frosty metallic pink, under certain light it looks more lilac, very pigmented!
Parma Violet - A matte deep purple, very similar to Highness in the V2 palette, but a touch darker
Liquorice - Their standard matte black, not very pigmented :(
Blue Fizzle - A very stunning shimmery lilac blue
Aniseed - A frosty pinky red with amazing colour shimmer. LOVE this colour!
These were applied with NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as the base. Look how beautiful Aniseed and Bon Bon are!
L-R Top to Bottom
These shades just had Monsters Inc. written all over them!
Apple Sour - Frosty, Shimmery green which looks blue under bright lights, almost creamy to touch!
Pear Drop - The only way to describe it, the colour of Mike Wazowski! Shimmery finish.
Flump - I don't remember flumps being anywhere near this colour but lets roll with it, a beautiful bright matte violet
Bubble Gum - I want to swim in it! A super bright, matte sky blue with amazing pigmentation!
Mint Cream - pretty much a pastel version of Apple Sour with only slight shimmer
Cream Soda - My favourite drink evarrr - An uber shimmery frost shade, very pigmented.
Swatched over NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk. I wanna go swimming in Bubble Gum! O_O
This palette is so gorgeous, I've already used it for my Monsters University looks, and I can't wait to see what I can come up with using Aniseed! It's such a stunning little colour, not one you'd find anywhere else on the high street!

Yes, some of the mattes can be quite chalky but that's what you get with such bright colours! I recommend applying your foundation etc AFTER you've done your eyes, because you do tend to get some fall out.

The more frosty, shimmery shades are very soft to touch, which makes them very pigmented so be careful on how much you use! A little goes a long way with these beauts!

Have you guys tried this palette? What do you think?

Disney Series! Mike Wazowski - Monsters University!

Hey Guys!
I cannot wait to go and see Monsters University when it comes out next week! I don't think I'm ever going to grow up... aaaand I don't care, I love Disney!
I've done two more looks for my Disney Series, Mike Wazowski and Sully, which I will post next week :)

So this is my Mike Wazowski look! I was a little worried when I started it... as he's basically just green! There wasn't a lot I could do but I tried my best! I wanted it to be a more wearable look as Sully isn't exactly an everyday look!

Look at the little cutie! Ahh I'm so excited for this film to come out! I think I'm going to be watching Monsters Inc everyday until next friday!

The Colours I used, were once again from the Sleek i-Candy and Ultra Matts V1 palettes. I can't get over the price of them, for the quality of the pigment is just amazing! £7.99 for 12 beautiful shadows!

My eyelashes are Eylure's #140 lashes. Very Dramatic! In the running as my new favourite big beautiful lashes! They are so dense it makes them look more real than fake, if you get what I mean... And the seem of the lashes is so thin it makes for easy application and comfortable to wear all night!

I love this look a lot more than I thought I would! Sometimes simplicity is better in my view! I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base, and started with POW! and Cream Soda just off centre of my eyelid to give my eye a nice rounded look.
I blended Dragonfly (and a little Ferne from UMV2) into the outer corner, pulling it in and also a tiny amount in the inner corner to create a shadow effect. I then went over my entire lid (excluding the centre of Cream Soda) with Cricket and blended a lot!
Personally, I think Pear Drop is the perfect Mike Wazowski shade, so I used it to go over where I put Cricket, and blended it upwards with Apple Sour, eventually into POW! mixed with a little Cream Soda as my highlight.

For eyeliner, I used Collection 2000's Waterproof Fast Stroke Eyeliner, and Urban Decay's Perversion 24/7 pencil on my waterline. I also added a little Apple Sour under my lash line .

Hope you guys like my look! Please leave a comment below if you have any other ideas on what I could do! Love hearing from you!

Shopping Haul! Eylure, H&M, Newlook...And a new piercing!

Hey Guys!
So I went into town yesterday with absolutely no intention of buying anything, just to meet my friend for a drink and get a piercing done... I failed miserably! But I have new pretties!

Firstly here's my new piercing! I had it done before but the lower double helix pushed itself out because I knocked it so I got it redone deeper yesterday! I love the little teal gem ball she put on it! It looks so pretty!

The top bar is actually purple but the colours come off the front ball, I'll change it when the other one has healed a bit more, I don't want to risk it pushing out again!

Now onto the haul... The main thing I bought were eyelashes! Ready for lots of new tutorials coming up!

I picked these pretty Eylure #140 eyelashes up from TopShop for £5.50. I have never bought a pair of Eylure lashes that I haven't fallen in love with! They are very full, intense lashes but are really light to wear which is nice, doesn't make your eyes look too droopy! Although be warned, if you are going to buy these to wear on a night out, don't get too drunk or it will look like you're asleep in half your photos!

I'm going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and needed a belt to match my bag and shoes! It's a gorgeous coral peach colour with gold accents and fingers crossed, will match perfectly! I got it from New Look for £2.99, bargain!

I went into Claire's to have a look at some small hoops for my forward helix piercings, and I saw these amazing Katy Perry Color Pop Lashes by Eylure and they were only £4 in the sale, and all sale items for 3 for 2! Bargain! I'm not sure if these lashes are called Ka-Ching! or not, but that's what it says on the box in her speech bubble, so that's what I'm calling them! They have an amazing light blue-green layer of lashes underneath the black which looks amazing, but makes the seam very thick so hard to work with!

I also bought the purple ones, called Ka-Pow! There were ones with a royal blue under layer as well but I didn't buy them. May have to go back! These just looked so pretty! I'm not sure whether to keep them or put them in a giveaway! They're amazing! And the lashes are so beautiful on, if it wasn't for the thick seam I'd be wearing them all the time!

Saving the best til last! These are the Ka-Zaam! Single eyelashes and they look gorgeous! Using the glue provided, then can last up to 2 week and come with a remover so they can be reusable! I'm going to the Secret Garden Party at the end of the month and may have to doll my lashes up, nice and bright! These were also only £4! I'd definitely recommend checking out their sale!

They all came with their own stickers too, how cute! I'm a sucker for freebies!
Whilst I was in topshop I saw these pretty little earings, just my style and only £4 so had to pick them up!

My sharpener keeps breaking on my so I picked up this amazing shiny one from H&M for only 99p! Look how pretty is it! Another magpie moment! They also had it in silver and pink, but this gorgeous teal shade is much more my thing!

Thanks for checking out my haul! The track pad on my laptop broke half way through writing it so I've had to download an app on my phone to use it as a mouse! It's been a nightmare! Hopefully it will all start working again tonight and I'll be able to get another post out!

Lush Oxford Street! Haul and Make-up Review

Hey guys! Yesterday I got to go to the brand new Lush store on Oxford Street! It was absolutely amazing! They opened the doors a day early f...
