Sleek Lagoon Palette Look!

Hey guys!
The Sleek Lagoon Palette was one of the ones I was lucky enough to get at Christmas, so I wanted to do a look using just this palette. It was so hard choosing a look to do, there are so many gorgeous colours! Eventually this was the look I went with, I hope you like it!
I tried a couple of looks, but my inspiration's been flat lately so I stayed on the safe side and done a purple, smoky look. There's so many gorgeous colour it was hard to choose just one look, I wanted to do some much all at once!
This is the lovely Lagoon Palette from the Aqua Collection.
TOP L-R: Sassea, Deep Water, Reflection, Emerald, Oyster, Black Pearl.
BOTTOM: Pink Jewell, Sand Dollar, Underworld, Sea Shell, Night Sky, Ariel.
I started with ELF eye primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk. I always use jumbo eye pencils because they make whatever eyeshadow you put on top brighter and last longer as it's a sticky base.
I started with night sky on the outer third of my eyelid, in my crease and slightly on the inner third of my eyelid. I wanted to make shadows basically!
Next, I used a paddle brush to apply Reflection onto the inner third of my eyelid. I then when over Night Sky with a fluffy pencil brush with Deep Water to darken the shadowing.
To darken the outer lid a little more and to add more shape I used Black Pearl.
To brighten my inner eye and the very centre of my eyelid I used Oyster, which is soo sparkly! It's an amazing shade which will definitely be getting a lot of use from me!
Under my eye, I carried on Black Oyster and Deep Water until the middle, and then used Pink Jewell until my inner eyelid.
So that's my look from Sleek's Lagoon Palette! I thought I was going to do a much brighter, colourful look with this palette but I was so overwhelmed by all the colours I couldn't make a choice on what to do! So until I work it out, we've gone purple!
I hope you like my look!

Sleek Makeup Garden of Eden Palette Review & Swatches

Hey guys!
I was so lucky today to get the new Sleek i-Divine Palette from Superdrug! They didn't have it on the shelf so I asked when it's due to come out, and she said next week but I could have one now! Happy girl right here!
So, I've quickly rushed home so I could takes some photos and get a blog post up straight away!
I've never noticed before but Sleek actually gives you suggestions on how to use the shades to create different looks! They are posted on the back of the Limited Edition packaging. I've just hunted for some other boxes and noticed it on the Celestial Palette too. May have to give some of them a go, they sound interesting!
Look how gorgeous the shades are! None of the photos I've seen have been able to go this palette justice. There's a great mix of mattes, shimmers and matte/glitters (which seems pretty new to Sleek, and I'm loving it!) that remind me of the ones from Inglot but I might actually pretty Sleeks version - the glitter isn't lost at all on application.
I seriously can't wait to create some looks with these colours! Simple green and mauve smoky eyes come to mind straight away, but I wonder how creative some people with get with this palette. Fingers crossed for a burst of inspiration later!
Now on to Swatches! Here's the top row, L-R:
Gates of Eden - A warm peachy gold, almost copper but not quite there
Eve's Kiss - a metallic lilac. Swatch doesn't do it justice, over NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk this would be amazing
Paradise on Earth - Metallic taupe/mauve, perfect eyelid colour for a smoky look
Python - Again a metallic finish, chocolate brown
Forbidden - a matte taupe with gold fleck of glitter, not as pigmented as I would have liked, but over the right base
Flora - a dark brown with a purple tinge. Sleek's dark matte shades always seem to have amazing pay off. I can see myself using this one a lot!
Entwined - Another matte glitter, pretty much a darker version of Forbidden
Adam's Apple - Sadly I love the name more than the colour. Matte, apple green shade, hopefully NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk will be able to bring this shade to life!
Fig - I don't know why this shade wasn't called olive! It's exactly what it is. Metallic finish
Evergreen - Metallic finish (I love sleeks metallics) true green.
Fauna - Metallic finish again, gorgeous deep green with a tinge of gold, stunning!
Tree of Life - Beautiful matte dark green, reminds me of a greener version of Orbit from Sleeks UltraMatts V2 palette

Every shade in this palette is absolutely stunning and I've never been disappointed by Sleek. I now own 10 of their palettes and still get excited when new ones come out! The quality of the product for the price is unbelievable.
I can't wait to start creating some looks!

Sleek Snapshots Palette Look!

Hello everyone!
I was going to leave this look for a few more days, but I love it too much so I thought I'd post it now!
I recently got 4 more Sleek palettes, some I was lucky enough to get for Christmas, and I want to do a look using every one! Or maybe two or three...
So here's the first look, using the Snapshots Palette!
http://enchantedmakeup.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/sleek-snapshots-palette-look.html
The colours in this palette are incredible to work with. Some swatch a little different to how they look in the pan, which I kind of like, makes a nice surprise! Humming Bird has an amazing golden shimmer which you can't tell until applied.
This is what the pretty palette looks like! The colours are: TOP (L-R) Summer Breeze, Sand Dollar, Kiwi Flower, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird, Tequila Sunrise
BOTTOM (L-R) Sand Walker, Washed Ashore, Sunset, Green Iguana, Purple Haze, Magenta Madness.
I started with ELF primer, and NYX jumbo pencil in milk as my base. I then used Sand Walker on a small, flat angled brush to line where I wanted my crease.
Next, I patted on Summer Breeze using a small C brush onto my entire lid.
Using Purple Haze I went over Sand Walker to define my crease and blended slightly.
Using a small fluffy pencil brush I blended Magenta Madness into the Purple Haze and upwards. Using a pencil brush, I went over the crease with Purple Haze again and blended into the outer half of my lid. To create a smoother transition I finished my lid with Green Iguana.
In my inner corner I applied Sand Dollar (which I love!) and used Purple Haze and Sand Dollar under my lash line. I applied Purple Haze with a flat brush on my waterline.
Eyelashes are #100 from Eylure and my mascara as always is MAC Plush Lash and Benefit They're Real. They were beautifully together!
So that's my look! I hope you like it as much as I do! I can't wait to do another look with this palette, but first, a look with all the others!
I hope you like it! And thank you for all your lovely comments! It always brightens my day reading them :)

Inglot Eyeshadow Look!

Hey guys!
I've recently just moved to Cambridge and discovered there was an Inglot store here! Some how I think I will be spending half my life in there...
I went in and bought some gorgeous new eye shadows and lip colour from their freedom system and a new palette, but I wanted to do a look with the colours I've already got. Because it's just a small palette I forgot I had it half the time, but using it again had reminded me how amazing the eye shadows are! They are so creamy and pigmented, they are just amazing to work with!
Anyway, I hope you like my look!
Before I bought more, I only had the Freedom System 4 Palette, but being able to get the rainbow shadows give you so many options, and the price is just amazing! You could get about 3 shadows for the price of one from Mac, and the pigmentation and ease of use of Inglots shades win hands down.
The shades I originally had were: Top 08, which is a Satin Gold.
Left 106R - Nude Rainbow
Right 62 - Matte black with pink micro glitter
Bottom 114R - Purple Rainbow
(both rainbow shades are currently on sale on Inglot's website)
For this look, I used all shades apart from 08, the satin gold. I love how well they blend together!
On the waterline I used Urban Decay Rockstar 24/7 eyeliner and my lashes are my all time favourite Eylure #100's! I've just bought a new pair from Tescos for £4. Bargain!
What I really like about Inglot's eye shadows, is that the matte shades that include glitter aren't at all shimmery and they don't loose the glitter once applied! It's hard to describe but its amazing! It makes them very versatile to use.
I added a little OZ from Urban Decay on my inner corner for a touch more sparkle!
Brows and Mascara are as usual and that's pretty much it!
I'll upload a blog soon of my lovely new shades from Inglot Cambridge. I can't wait to have a proper play with them!
I absolutely love the freedom system, its a great way to create your own palette and get exactly what you want, and with the amount of eye shadows they have you certainly get choice! I can't wait to go back and get some more products. So far I've only tried the eye shadows (and I have one lipstick pan but haven't tried it yet), what would you guys recommend trying?

Hope you like my look!

NYE Makeup! Sleek Vintage Romance Palette Look!

Hey guys! I'm in the middle of moving still at the moment so I haven't been able to do any recent looks so I've had to hold some back! This was my makeup look for NYE! I hope you all had a lovely night, and I hope you like my look!
I've been on the hunt for Sleek's Vintage Romance Palette for a while and I found it in a piercing studio on the Isle of Wight! I was so happy! I picked it up and instantly had to do a look with it!
I'm addicted to pinks and burnt orange shades at the moment, they're so fun to play around with!
The Vintage Romance palette includes a matte shadow and shimmer/glitter shades so you can create some gorgeous looks. You will also need a hightlighter shade though!
In this palette, for this look I used the top right shade, all three gorgeous pinks and the glittery black for my eyeliner. Sometimes, I think a thick black line can ruin a look so I like to just press a black shadow into my lashline.
I wore this look out on NYE and even my 8 year old niece said she likes it! Which was a shock seeming she's a complete tomboy, and being 8 she usually just says 'what's on your face?'

So that's my look! Mascara and brows, the same as always and no lashes today as I wore this look out! I'm not great with actually wearing lashes, I usually just wear them for pictures! haha

I hope you like it! I will try and get some more looks done soon I promise! I just need to get a new lamp...

The Body Shop 4-Step Smoky Eyes, Smoky Plum Look!

Hey Guys!

My wonderful best friend bought me the 4-Step Smoky Eyes in Smoky Plum for me for Christmas (she knows me so well!) And I wore it out to my work Christmas do so I thought, from now on, when i get dolled up I'll take some pictures of my looks to show you! The looks I usually post on my blog, aren't ones I'd always wear out so I thought it would be good to show you looks that I wear myself.
Here's the look I did using the palette! It does show you a look you can follow on the back of the palette, but I decided to do something a little different. And to me, it's not exactly plum...but very shimmery! I actually really liked it! Very good pigmentation too!
I do not enjoy taking photos of myself. Haha I'm still learning how to take them of my eye! Brows are HD Brows in Foxy, skin is Mac Select SPF Foundation (I think) in NW10...so pale! Also, Mac mineralized skin finish in fair, blush in Sun Basque and Highlighter in Lightscapade. Bronzer is my all time favourite, Hoola by Benefit.
I hate looking at photos of my lips, but I've tried! Must try harder... Lipstick is a concoction of colours from my Makeup Forever Flash Palette, mainly the pink, red and dark blue.
Here's what the pretty palette looks like. 4 Shades to create some gorgeous looks however they do all have glitter or shimmer to them, so unless you want to shine then I recommend a matte shade of something! I used Blanc Type from MAC to highlight my brow bone, inner corner and under my eye.
And that's it! A nice quick post! I'll leave you with this lovely photo of myself...I get bored easily.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! This is a very busy time for me right now but I wanted to get a post out soon! I will try and get another out this week!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! x
