Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Palette Look!

Hey guys! I have so many reviews for you guys but I'm still waiting to take the photos (hopefully will be done tomorrow) so for today I have another makeup look for you! My boyfriend's wonderful Mumma surprised me with a lovely gift when I came home from work the other day, the new Showstoppers palette from Sleek Makeup which is out in Superdrug in celebration of their 50th Anniversary.
So here's the look I've done, I hope you like!
Like all the colours from Sleek, they are beautifully pigmented and so easy to use! I love creating new looks with palette I haven't used before and I can see a lot of potential in this palette!
The colours in this palette all work so well together and there's a lovely mix of mattes, satins, glitters and frosts.
Colours from top left are: Paraguaya, Sunset, Me Myself & Eye, Bad Girl, Noir, Ultramattes V2
bottom left: Oh so special, Bohemian, Storm, Sparkle, Au Natural, Graphite.
I don't have all the palettes but I'm guessing that all the colours are there to represent past palettes? Some are obviously names whereas I don't know some of the others like Paraguaya or Bohemian.
To start my look I used my elf primer and NYX eye pencil in Milk and then went over my eye with Paraguaya as a base and a blending tool for my crease. Next I applied Bohemian all over my lid and into my crease as my colour base. Using Au Natural I went into the outer and very inner of my crease with a light pencil brush to create a shadow effect, which will make my eyes appear rounder by creating depth.
To darken the shadow and create further depth I used Storm in my outer crease and Me, Myself & Eye in the very centre of my eyelid.
In my inner corner I applied Sparkle and used Collection 2000 Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner in Purple.
My lashes are Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store and Mascara is Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara.
Under my eyes I applied Storm and blended it slightly with Bohemian to remove any harsh edges.
On my waterline is Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Rockstar.

And that's the look! I hope you like it, I think I'm going to try and get another look out using this palette soon! Seeing these pictures again makes me remember how many ideas I had!

See you soon!

Halloween ideas!

Hey guys! I am soo excited that I'll be spending Hallowe'en in America this year!! I love Hallowe'en so I thought I might do a few Hallowe'en inspired looks! I've done a few practise runs so thought I'd show you a few things that will be coming up on my blog!
Red ombre lips! Perfect for Evil Queens or Vampires!

Werewolf! Obviously I would block out my brow but it's such a pain in the ass I only half attempted it! Some wolf-like contact lenses would be awesome with this look! I'm too scared to use them!

Pixie/ Fairy Look! Minus some awesome colorful lashes, bright eyeliner and glitter! And My Evil Queen/ Vampire look!

My Evil Queen / Vampire Inspired eye makeup! My favourite! I can't wait to do this one properly with some super intense raven-esque eyelashes!

So that's just a few of my ideas! I'll start doing them properly and hopefully get some blog posts out soon! I'm so excited for Hallowe'en! What are people going to be dressing up as?

Disney Series: Aurora's Dress - Sleeping Beauty

Hellooooo! Sorry I've been away from the computer for a while, busy times at the moment!
I'm coming back with a new one for my Disney Series though! I've started running out of ideas so please leave me a comment if you can think of anything! I will tag you in the look that I do! :)

This look was inspired by Aurora's colour changing dress!
This used to be my favourite scene of any Disney movie when I was little! And when the other fair godmother was making the cake! I love it!
I used my sleek palettes as always, I-candy, V1 and V2 matts and I wanted to try out my new Dainty Doll shadow in Cocabana - which is the base blue colour in this look.
I've recently dyed my hair blonde and was trying out different looks. I feel with lighter hair, I can get away with darker eye looks which is great fun! So expect to see more of them up on my blog!
So that's my look! Just a quick one for today. As always I've used my Mac plush lash mascara and Benefit They're Real mascara, also my NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk, and just a matte white highlighter on my brow bone and under the wing of my eyeliner (Eyeko mini skinny liner)

Don't forget to check out my giveaway! Very simple to enter, just be a follower and comment!

Disney Series: Ariel - The Little Mermaid!

Hey Guys!
To make up for being MIA I've got another look for you! I will be gone for the next few days again as I'm travelling but I should be posting more on Tuesday!
So here's another look for the Disney Series! I promise I will put out some looks that aren't Disney inspired, but I'm loving them right now! haha
Annnd here it is...

ARRRRIEEEELLLLL! It's the only way to say it. As if you were a Jamaican Crab...
She's so awesome... I now want to watch The Little Mermaid so much! It's got to be one of the only Disney films I don't have on DVD!
So this is my look! Greens, purple and Red/Orange... that's pretty much her right? I tried to find some inspiration online but I found it so hard! Hope you guys like my interpretation! One of my boyfriend's friends gave me the idea to do Ariel (thankyou!) whilst we were at the secret garden party and she was dressed as a mermaid...

As always I went for my trusty Sleek eyeshadow palettes. I used E.L.F primer, then NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base, to make sure the colours stayed vibrant! The palettes I used were Matts V1 and the new i-Candy palette.

Eyeliner (which stains like a bitch) is from Collection 2000 and is in the shade Teal. Mascara as always in Mac's plush lash and Benefit's They're Real. Eyelashes are Eylure #100.
The little pearls (which I managed to cut off in this photo... well done Georgia, brilliant skills there) are from a Nail Art kit I picked up from either Topshop or River Island (I want to say the latter) and cost about £3 for a wheel with loads of different pretty gems in, these seemed to fit perfectly! I applied them using Duo Glue, which I picked up in the US for $5.
Just a few last pics, hope you liked my look! Completely out of ideas for the Disney Series at the moment so let me know in my comments below if you have any ideas, I would love to hear from you!
The purple looks so vibrant in this photo! No idea why it's come out so bright!

I hope you liked my version of Ariel!
