Daily dose of Lush...Shine So Bright

Aloha Amigos!
Ok so this is a product that is perfect for people like me who mistreat their hair! I treated mine so badly due to straightening and bleaching that I've recently had to chop it all off into a pixie cut... however! This can be prevented with one little Lush Balm...
Shine So Bright is a hair balm to help treat split ends. Nothing is going to be able to get rid of split ends, apart from a few inches taken off the bottom with a pair of scissors, but you can minimise the damage and prevent any more from occurring by rubbing a small amount of this balm into the ends of your hair using your fingers.
Made with coconut oil, olive oil and shea butter it adds moisture to your hair and also doubles as a hair perfume too! Neroli oil, rosewood and grapefruit oils leave the hair with a fruity floral fragrance.
Not only do I used this for my split ends but I love using it on my fly aways! Now I have short hair there seems to be quite a few so I use this balm to calm them down and hold them in place and it works wonders!
When I recommend this product I always get asked if it makes your hair appear greasy, but because you're only using it on the ends of your hair (or for fly aways) it's never as issue. The ends of your hair are always the driest area so a little balm is going to help moisturise it and make it look beautiful!

Has anyone ever tried it?

Daily dose of Lush... Lush Kitchen Zest

Hey guys!
Today's post is on a new hair styling product which will be making it's way into Lush stores very soon...Zest!
Zest is a hair gelly which you would use in a similar way to hair gel. You can take the whole thing out of the pot and play with it in your hands to get some product or just stick your fingers in it! Rub it into your fingers and then apply to your hair.
Zest has a medium to strong hold and if you like a slicked look this is perfect for you, if not then use it sparingly! I have recently cut my hair short and I love this product! I rub a little into my fingers and then get messy with my hair! A quick brush later and a little playing and it gives me the volume and messy look that I want. At first it can appear quite greasy looking but give it a little time to sink in!
When I first saw the bright yellow colour of Zest I instantly expected it to be a sour lemon scent so I was pleasantly surprised to find out it's actually made with fresh organic orange juice and sweet wild orange oil!
It smells like freshly squeezed orange juice, reminds me of a lazy Sunday breakfast :) amazing!
I was lucky enough to get this when I went on a haircare training course with Lush. It's not out in stores yet but it won't be too long now! Will keep you posted :)

Will anyone be trying this when it comes out?

Daily dose of Lush... Granny Takes a Dip

Hellooo!
Ok this one I am really excited about! Granny Takes a Dip is my current favourite bath bomb, and I haven't even used it yet! Now that's saying something...
The swirly, mesmerising goodness of this bath bomb is enough to make you want to take it home. Let alone, the (somehow chocolately) uplifting and spicy scent it creates and the deep pomegranate colour it turns the bath water! This bath ballistic will have you in the bath so long you'll come out looking like a wrinkly granny!
Here's a demo in photos!
Aren't the colours gorgeous! I didn't manage to get a photo of the colour of the water but I'll stick one up soon! It goes the very deep purple you can see coming off the bottom right of the green centre - absolutely amazing!

Granny is a ginger, pepper and lemon scented bath ballistic which sounds like an unusual choice but don't knock it till you've tried it! To me it smells almost chocolatey, to others it reminds them of Candy Sticks or Fizzy Cola Cubes! Whatever it reminds you of, it smells lovely either way :)

A perfect bath ballistic for a rainy day...
What do you guys think, have you tried it yet?

Urban Decay Electric Palette Look!

Hey guys!
I'm sorry I've been gone for a while, I've had a lot of hours at work lately and it's completely tired me out! I've had this look in my back pocket for a while and I absolutely love it! I needed to put it up asap - I'm just annoyed asap took so long!
Anyway here's the look, a bit picture heavy! I hope you like it :)
As always I started with my Elf primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base.
To start my look, I applied Thrash over the inner two thirds of my eyelid. I cannot believe how pigmented this shadow was! I was expecting Thrash, Savage and Slowburn to be maybe a bit clear but the colour payoff is insane!
In the outer third and in my crease I applied gonzo which came out a stunning sky blue over NYX JEP in Milk, and sea blue over Thrash. In the very outer crease I use Fringe and a little Chaos.
On my brow bone I blended in Mac's Blanc Type with Gonzo to create a smoother finish and worked both shades of Aura from Urban Decay's The Great and Powerful Oz, Glinda Palette into my inner corner for a little bit of shimmer.
My eyeliner is Urban Decay's Perversion Liquid Liner and Lashes are the Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store.
Under my lower lashes I applied Slowburn which is a gorgeous, bright shimmery orange shade.
On my waterline is Eyeko Skinner Kohl Liner in a light pink shade which I am loving at the moment. I do love using black eyeliner but it can make your eyes look so much smaller sometimes. The payoff in Eyeko's liners are fantastic and definitely worth the price.
Mascara is Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara and that's the look done!
I hope you like this look guys, fingers crossed I will have something new for you soon!
