Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Palette Look!

Hey guys! I have so many reviews for you guys but I'm still waiting to take the photos (hopefully will be done tomorrow) so for today I have another makeup look for you! My boyfriend's wonderful Mumma surprised me with a lovely gift when I came home from work the other day, the new Showstoppers palette from Sleek Makeup which is out in Superdrug in celebration of their 50th Anniversary.
So here's the look I've done, I hope you like!
Like all the colours from Sleek, they are beautifully pigmented and so easy to use! I love creating new looks with palette I haven't used before and I can see a lot of potential in this palette!
The colours in this palette all work so well together and there's a lovely mix of mattes, satins, glitters and frosts.
Colours from top left are: Paraguaya, Sunset, Me Myself & Eye, Bad Girl, Noir, Ultramattes V2
bottom left: Oh so special, Bohemian, Storm, Sparkle, Au Natural, Graphite.
I don't have all the palettes but I'm guessing that all the colours are there to represent past palettes? Some are obviously names whereas I don't know some of the others like Paraguaya or Bohemian.
To start my look I used my elf primer and NYX eye pencil in Milk and then went over my eye with Paraguaya as a base and a blending tool for my crease. Next I applied Bohemian all over my lid and into my crease as my colour base. Using Au Natural I went into the outer and very inner of my crease with a light pencil brush to create a shadow effect, which will make my eyes appear rounder by creating depth.
To darken the shadow and create further depth I used Storm in my outer crease and Me, Myself & Eye in the very centre of my eyelid.
In my inner corner I applied Sparkle and used Collection 2000 Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner in Purple.
My lashes are Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store and Mascara is Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara.
Under my eyes I applied Storm and blended it slightly with Bohemian to remove any harsh edges.
On my waterline is Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Rockstar.

And that's the look! I hope you like it, I think I'm going to try and get another look out using this palette soon! Seeing these pictures again makes me remember how many ideas I had!

See you soon!

Disney Series! Mike Wazowski - Monsters University!

Hey Guys!
I cannot wait to go and see Monsters University when it comes out next week! I don't think I'm ever going to grow up... aaaand I don't care, I love Disney!
I've done two more looks for my Disney Series, Mike Wazowski and Sully, which I will post next week :)

So this is my Mike Wazowski look! I was a little worried when I started it... as he's basically just green! There wasn't a lot I could do but I tried my best! I wanted it to be a more wearable look as Sully isn't exactly an everyday look!

Look at the little cutie! Ahh I'm so excited for this film to come out! I think I'm going to be watching Monsters Inc everyday until next friday!

The Colours I used, were once again from the Sleek i-Candy and Ultra Matts V1 palettes. I can't get over the price of them, for the quality of the pigment is just amazing! £7.99 for 12 beautiful shadows!

My eyelashes are Eylure's #140 lashes. Very Dramatic! In the running as my new favourite big beautiful lashes! They are so dense it makes them look more real than fake, if you get what I mean... And the seem of the lashes is so thin it makes for easy application and comfortable to wear all night!

I love this look a lot more than I thought I would! Sometimes simplicity is better in my view! I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base, and started with POW! and Cream Soda just off centre of my eyelid to give my eye a nice rounded look.
I blended Dragonfly (and a little Ferne from UMV2) into the outer corner, pulling it in and also a tiny amount in the inner corner to create a shadow effect. I then went over my entire lid (excluding the centre of Cream Soda) with Cricket and blended a lot!
Personally, I think Pear Drop is the perfect Mike Wazowski shade, so I used it to go over where I put Cricket, and blended it upwards with Apple Sour, eventually into POW! mixed with a little Cream Soda as my highlight.

For eyeliner, I used Collection 2000's Waterproof Fast Stroke Eyeliner, and Urban Decay's Perversion 24/7 pencil on my waterline. I also added a little Apple Sour under my lash line .

Hope you guys like my look! Please leave a comment below if you have any other ideas on what I could do! Love hearing from you!

Disney Series: Shere Khan from The Jungle Book!

Hey Guys, Here's another look from my Disney Collection!
I love doing this collection, it's really nice always finding ideas on what to do and getting inspiration. Whenever I go to sit down at my makeup table, if  I don't have a clear picture in my head of what I want to do, It usually goes horribly wrong!

This looked is based off the tiger from The Jungle Book, Shere Khan. I used to love watching this film as a kid but I haven't seen it in years! This was actually the second look I did from the Disney Series but I didn't like it! I've since redone it and simplified, which is sometimes so much more effective than over complicating things

Unless you're going to go OTT there's not a lot you can do with a tiger... haha I didn't want to do too much as I wanted it to be a wearable look, so I've kept it nice and simple and elongated the matte black eyeliner, for a cats eye look.

As always, the majority of the colours came from one of my Sleek palettes! This time the V1 mattes for a change! The first time I used this palette I found the colours quite chalky but that's to be expected from such bright pigment, however it doesn't seem to be the case any more. They blend beautifully and the colours are so vivid and rich! Can't explain how much I love these palettes!

For Shimmer in my inner corner, I added MAC's baby, it's cold outside eyeshadow, which was released within a christmas set last year, and I also used my BeautyUk palette which has some gorgeous burnt orange colours which really came in handy for creating beautiful shape and shadow.

My eyeliner is Collection 2000's waterproof liquid eyeliner and my lashes are called Hearbreaker by LetsGo (I think from the Blink+Go family?)

And that's pretty much it!
If you used a more coral toned orange and brown eyeliner this would be a lovely summers day look!

Disney Series: MALEFICENT!

Hey Guys!
Here's my latest look from the Disney Series, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty! The Idea came from the beautiful and talented Meredith from Pigments & Palettes!

I'm going to upload about 101 photos of this look, sorry! I took it in different light, and in all of them it looks so so gorgeous! This is still quite a wearable look, if you like bold colours :)

Obviously my main colours were going to be purple and green, with some very sharp lines! I've got to give it to them, they might all be villans but they know style...

As always, I started with my Urban Decay Primer Potion, then added NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk all over my eye, to make sure the beautiful colours popped!

I've used Eylure's Naturalites #146 because they reminded my of Maleficent's feathery friend... They aren't too over powering but definitely brought a slight edge to the look which is what I wanted :)

ALL the colours I used in this look come from the Sleek V1 and V2 palettes! All of the colours are so easy to blend, and seeming some of them are quite bright and chalky they're still really easy to work with which is amazing seeming the price of these palettes are so reasonable! I'd be lost without them!

Please let me know what you think in the comments below and if you have any ideas of what Disney Character look I could do next! I always love hearing from you guys! :)

Hope you like! x x

Disney Series: IAGO!

Hey Guys!
So this is my second look from my mini Disney Series! Not as wearable as Jafar, but I love love love it!
Iago is Jafar's little parrot sidekick from Aladdin and he's pretty frickin' cool!

This look so much fun to do! I don't usually work with such bright, vibrant colours so this for me, was really awesome :)

Hope you guys like it!

The majority of the colours came from the NYX 72 eyeshadow palette, apart from the blues which were from the Sleek Storm and V2 palettes.

I started the look with Urban Decay Primer Potion and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, to make sure all the colours were as vibrant as possible! Eyeliner is Collection 2000 eyeliner pen and once again, my eyelashes are Eylure.

I hope you guys like it! Let me know if you have any ideas for Disney looks!

Disney Series: JAFAR

Hey guys!
So here's my first post for the Mini Disney Series! So far it's the most wearable look I've done in the series, and I'm loving it!

Jafar is a pretty creepy guy but this dude's got style!

I love the rich dark colours and over exaggerated lines! Black, Red and Gold. Can't get much better than that really!

please click on the pictures for a bigger image, they look so much better!

I thought I'd ease into the series with the most wearable look! Nothing too OTT. It's a pretty simple smokey black eye with a touch of red glitter that looks amazing in the light, and a super winged out gold eyeliner.

The main products I used in this look, as always are the Sleek iDivine V2 palette (dark brown and white for blending, black base) and the amazing Urban Decay 24/7 waterproof liquid eyeliner in Eldorado.

The red eyeshadow was from the NYX 72 eyeshadow palette, and the glitter was from Saffron's glitter cream palette. Eyelashes are Eyelure but I can't remember which ones, sorry! I only ever wear Eyelure, they're brilliant.

So that's my first look! Paired with pillar box red lips with a golden glitter gloss coat, and some serious contouring this would be a killer look!

Let me know what you think, and what look I should try out next! x

DISNEY SERIES!

Please comment and let me know if you have any ideas!!! It would be soo helpful and I'll give you a shout out on my post if I do the character you choose! :)

Please give me a comment, would be amazing!
