Winter Rain Makeup Look!

Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I've been on bed rest, Doctor's orders! But I'm feeling better now and love love love playing with makeup at the moment! So here's another look!
I wanted to do a seasonal look, and seeming the weather SUCKS at the moment, a cold and blue look came to mind! I hope you guys like it :)
I started this look with, as always, my ELF primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk.
Then added Urban Decay Hijacked and Mac's Steamy to my lid.
Then in my crease I used a sky blue from my P88 Palette and Plumage by Mac.
My eyeliner is Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Perversion, Stingray by Stila on my waterline, and my lashes are the Princess Eyelashes from Born Pretty in M-3.
On my inner corner and highlighter I used Mac's Blanc Type, and also on my inner corner I added Aura by Urban Decay (the blue half, obviously!) and oh my god its just so pretty!!! It looks so gorgeous in real life but it just doesn't seem to want to photograph well!

Anyway that's the look for today! I wore it out today and it looked amazing!
I love it!
Note to self though: add shimmery colours LAST. Otherwise everything turns shimmery -_-

Hope you like it!

Recreation of Sully by Makeup Crazy!

Hey guys!
Just a quick post today. I haven't done any looks and I've wanted to share this amazing recreation Lucy from Makeup Crazy has done of my Sully from Monsters University look!

Hasn't she done an amazing job! I found it so difficult to get the purple dots as bright as she has!
This was my original look
I absolutely love her recreation!
It makes me so happy when people like my looks enough to try them themselves, and I always love seeing them!

Thankyou so much for doing this Lucy, I love it! She's done some beautiful looks lately, and some also inspired by Disney! Definitely check her blog out!

Christmas is Coming!!

Ok, I feel like I do the same thing every year but I don't care! What's more Christmassy than red and gold? I love it! Although I just realised I now match my Christmas tree...
For this look I used my new P88 Palette from Born Pretty Store, I love how pigmented the colours are, I was so surprised!
And also Coppering, from Mac.
My eyelashes are Princess Lashes in M-3, also from Born Pretty Store.
Eyeliner is Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Perversion, and Stila Smudge Stick in Stingray on my waterline.
Mascara is the same as always! Mac Plush Lash and Benefit They're Real.
So that's my second Christmas look! I hope you like it, Makeup hasn't been my friend for the last few days so I was quite happy when this came out ok!

Vice 2 Palette Look #1!

Hello!
The lovely Miss Louise from Lilting Grace asked me to do some looks using my Vice 2 Palette, so of course I will! I've had this one ready for a little while now, what a perfect time to use it! I will try and get some more looks out using my Vice 2 Palette asap!
If anyone ever wants to see a look, using something I've got then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to oblige!
I didn't have great lighting so sorry for the bad photos, I will do some more looks soon!
For this look I used X-Rated, Voodoo, Habit, Coax and Betrayal.
I also used Psychedelic Sister from my Book of Shadows II.
This is under different lighting, so you can see the beautiful pink colours!
Lashes are Eylure 100, mascara is Mac's Plush Lash and Benefit They're Real.

Hope you like the look Louise!
PS, I tried to comment on your blog but because you use Disqus it won't let me - it's always had a problem with Disqus! Never lets me comment on anyones!

Daily Eyeshadow Look using Born Pretty Makeup!

Hey Guys!
I'm having great fun with my new makeup palette from Born Pretty Store so I thought I'd show you another look. It's the one I've been wearing to work for the last few days, I hope you like it!
I find when I do simple looks they never want to photograph well so I've only got one close up pic, sorry!
As always it's over ELF Eye Primer and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.
P88 Palette
I used the two bottom left colours as my main eyelid shade, the three lightest browns on the right in the crease, to blend out and to add a little sparkle.
The white in the top left as my highlighter, and the darkest two from the bottom right corner to darken my lashline; like eyeliner but without the thick black line!
To finish, MAC Plush Lash Mascara and Benefit They're Real, and done.
Aaand this is why I don't take photos of my face. Haha!
If anyone wants to see a 'tutorial' (or list basically...) of what I use on my face, then let me know and I'll get started on a post!
I use Benefit Hoola to contour, MAC's Lightscapade as my highlighter, and just the moisture Babylips on my lips as they are so dry because of the cold!

So just a quick post today! I hope you like it!

Christmas Past Eyeshadow Look!

Hey guys!
As promised, here's my look using all my new products from Born Pretty Store!
I wanted to start doing some Christmas looks but for some reason my brush went straight for the gorgeous pastel pink colour! This look reminds me of everything from my Christmas past. When I was little I wanted Barbie dolls, jewellery, makeup - anything as long as it was girly! And I always lovely my Christmas party dresses!
All the colours I used were over ELF primer and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, and they all came from the P88 Palette from Born Pretty.

I thought I'd make life easy and show you the colours I used in this look :)
I also used my princess lashes in M-3 which were so easy to wear and they looked great too. Sometimes eyelashes can be quite heavy on your eyes, and can make you look half asleep because of the weight of them however it wasn't the case for these little lovelies!
All the colours were very pigmented, even the baby pink which I couldn't believe! I also used the darkest purple on my waterline and with a bit of Mac's Fix+ I used it as an eyeliner too!
The only brushes I used were the ones from Born Pretty! The pencil brush and fluffly angled brush were a dream to work with. The C brush needs a few washes to try and soften it a bit! It was a little harsh on the skin but it packed eyeshadow on brilliantly.
I thought this look would be great with some sparkle so I used a mix of a lilac and silver cream glitter from a halloween wet'n'wild palette for a touch of sparkly eyeliner.
My mascara as always is MAC's plush lash and Benefit's They're Real.

I can't wait to do another look using this palette! I have so many ideas!
I hope you like this look, don't forget to check out the born pretty store and use GEG10 for 10% off!

New Pretties From Born Pretty Store!

Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone's in the Christmassy spirit! I'm so excited! Whilst I'm writing this I'm listening to 100 Christmas Hits for Kids! haha
This week I've received some lovely products for reviewing from bornprettystore.com which is an online store that sells everything girly going! They are located in China which makes shipping take 2-4 weeks to reach the UK, but mine arrived a lot sooner than I was expecting! I think it came in 2 weeks which was great.
They have a huge selection of makeup, nail polishes (including holos! happy girly...) nail art, jewellery, contact lenses, hair accessories, phone cases... the list goes on, and all at very reasonable prices with free worldwide shipping! How could anyone complain at that?

My first item was this P88 eyeshadow palette
For me that palette is amazing! I wanted this one in particular because the majority of the colours are matte which are my favourite to work with, and only a few have shimmer to them. I have already done a look using this palette, which I will upload very soon!
I was pleasantly surprised with how pigmented the colours were too! Payoff was great and not too chalky. It's currently on their site for £11.65!
I can't wait to do some more looks with this palette! Some of the colours remind me of Sigma Creme De Couture Palette, beautiful pastel shades.
Next were these lovely eyelashes! I like natural looking false lashes, ones that lengthen rather than weigh my eyes down! Princess eyelashes in M-3 are perfect for this. They have a clear strip at the top, which already makes them look a lot less fake than others and they are so light to wear.
I'm wearing these in my next eyeshadow look so you can judge them for yourself, but 10 pairs for £5.24, you can't really go wrong! One pair of my favourite eyelure lashes costs that!
My last product is this red 7pc brush kit. I'm usually picky with brushes and don't like buying them online because you don't know if they're going to be any good or not, but I wanted to get 3 items from born pretty store which I could use all together in a look, so I thought brushes were the best thing to try.
They come in a great travel bag which is definitely going to come in handy, with 7 red handled brushes. The first 2 brushes (smudge sponge and lip brush) are the quality you'd expect for £4.90 but I really like all the other brushes!
Going down, you have the smudge sponge thing, lip brush, stiff angled brush, fluffy angled brush, blush brush (perfect for contouring) stiff C brush (great for packing on colour) and my favourite out of them all, the fluffy pencil brush.
I love the last brush! It's great for adding eyeshadow into the crease and soo good at blending! It's bigger than a pencil brush but smaller than a blending brush... I love it, it's great! And the fluffy angled brush is wonderful too! These two will definitely get a lot of use!

Overall I'm actually really please with the products! Seeming the prices are so reasonable you expect the products to be a bit hit and miss, but I will definitely be purchasing some pieces from this site! I keep going on and finding new things I want to try out like their beautiful holographic nail polishes and some more eyelashes.

The lovely people at Born Pretty Store have even sent me a 10% off code for all you lovely readers!
Just enter GEG10 at checkout!
How amazing is that?!

Let me know if you go on their site/purchase anything and what you think of the products!
I will post a look using everything in this post ASAP!
