New Hair! Back to Blonde!

Helloooo! Ok, I've been a bit MIA recently! Where I work, We have just had a refit and I've been working my ass off trying to make up all the hours I've missed whilst we've been closed! Although it closed at a great time, right over the Bestival weekend! WOHOO! I also went and go my hair done! I've been wanting to go back to blonde for a while now and I always said I'd be blonde for our holiday (to Florida in a month!) which I'm really excited about! So, here's my new look!
So here's my new look! I'm still trying to work out what I should do with my eyebrows... They seem a bit dark sometimes so I think I'm going to get a honey colour toner for my hair, and make the blonde colour cooler.
So this was my hair before I got it done. I had to go brown because the blue I had in it before wouldn't budge! It turned my hair a toxic green colour so brunette was my only option! I did love it, may have to go back at some point...

STEP ONE
OK it was a lengthy process! Because the roots wouldn't take as long to dye, he started by just applying the peroxide mixture to the hair which had already been dyed.

STEP TWO
Next up, he applied the peroxide mixture everywhere and stuck me in the oven haha

STEP THREE
Next up, washing my hair and cutting my hair! Whatever colour I had a year ago, didn't want to budge! So the ends were looking a bit orange at this stage! He decided to cut it now to see how much would be taken away, which luckily was quite a lot. I was a tad worried haha

STEP FOUR
Next step... applying more chemicals everywhere! Oh My GOD! 45 minutes of this on my head was making me go crazy! It was pretty painful! I was using the metal handle of the comb to itch my scalp with! You can definitely feel it working its magic! Hot, Cold, Bubbling... you name it.

STEP FIVE
I've ran out of photos! It was so quick. My hair was washed, and then a toner was used to get the blonde colour I wanted. Then a final cut and blow dry and 4 and a half hours later, we're done! I am so happy with the colouring! I'm going to pick up a toner with honey tones in to just dull it down a bit for winter.
I'm looking forward to doing some bright eye looks with my blonde locks!
Seeming I was at the hairdressers for almost 5 hours, and had at least 4 treatments and a haircut, I couldn't believe it only cost me £80!

Let me know what you think! I always love hearing from you, and don't forget to enter my giveaway here!

Hair Update!

So basically I have destroyed the pigment in my hair. This summer I thought it would be fun to experiment for festival season with my hair colour, and then I got a teeny tiny bit addicted... Instead of telling you all the colours I went through, I'm just going to show you...

What my wonderful Mother said I reminded her of!

I'm the one on the left by the way...

MERMAID HAIR!

After a while of my hair being Blue it went GREEN!

And the pigment wouldn't come out! No matter what I did (used anti-dandruff shampoo and tried tomato ketchup!) So I couldn't go straight back to blonde, instead this happened...

It's quite a nice, reddy brown colour and I'm loving it at the moment! It's started to fade a bit so shouldn't be too long until I can go blonde again and start dying it random colours for festivals... because I know it's going to happen....

All the crazy colours were Crazy Colors hair dye and they worked really well, but I don't think I'll be rushing to dye it blue again anytime soon! The pigment locked into my hair and left my blonde locks green! So unless you're going to cover it up with a darker colour, be warned!

Just a quick post today, got a few ideas in my head that I want to blog about but still thinking...
Hope everyone's good!

Purple Hair and New Piercings!

Ok... So in the last few months I've definitely become a lot more confident and happy within myself so started to express it!

My parents have always put me off getting any 'weird' piercings but I saw a really cute picture on google of a triple forward helix and fell in love with it! So basically, step by step - I'm getting it!
It's 3 seperate piercings and so far I've got two! I expected it to hurt a lot more than it actually did but it was fine! Hurt no more than a blood test and the woman doing it was so lovely!

what i'm aiming for!

What I'm at so far :)

I'm leaving them about 2/3 months apart so they have time to heal, then will get them all changed into 3 Gems studs accending in size :) Looks super cute!

Also, it was the Bestival a few weeks ago (which was amazing!) and I fancied a bit of a change anyway so decided to dye my hair purple! As you do...

This is how it looked the first time I did it! I used Crazy Colour hair dye in lilac and hot purple - mixed the two together! They were super cheap, like £3.50 each! And Amazing!!! To be fair, the first time i did it, it hardly lasted the weekend! It ended up looking like this...

I had a bit of a purple rinse going on! haha! I got fed up with it looking GREY so dyed it again, and so far it's holding on a lot longer than the first time! It's been almost a week now and it's just got a slightly more lilac colour...

I quite like it this colour though! It does look a lot darker than it actually is in this photo, it's more of a pastel lavender at the moment which is beaut!

For such a cheap, semi-permanent hair colour I was really impressed with how bright and vibrant the results were! And at £3.50 I can see myself dying my hair numerous colours this autumn!

What colour do you think I should go next?

NEW HAIR!

What do I do to myself... I attempted to highlight my hair and somehow i've ended up with peroxide blonde hair! haha I'm still getting used to it to say the least! For some reason it's a lot more blonde at the front than the back... but i'm hoping it's not very noticeable! I've just been staring so I've realised!

Before:

After:

It's not fantastic, but I can live with it!

Sooo tempted to dye it pink again! I think it would look amazing if I had some pastel pink in it, however i'm going to be job hunting soon so maybe not a good idea!

Jerome Russell, HELP!!

I need some help please! I saw a blog post earlier (now I can't find it!) and she had highlighted her hair using the Jerome Russell Highlighting Kit. I went out and bought it today, came home, did the patch test and after about a minute it started to tingle and burn for about 30 seconds. It went a little bit red at the same time but 5 minutes later its absolutely fine! Completely gone back to normal!
I did the same behind my other ear and the same thing happened, I applied it to the inner crease on my elbow and I had no problem (this is the other place you're usually told to put it)

What do i do? Do I use it to dye my hair or not? I can try and do it without it touching my scalp? Ahhh! HELP PLEASE!!!

much love xx
