Sleek Makeup Ultra Matts V2 Palette Look!

Hello!
I thought there's been a few Lush posts recently so lets break it up with a makeup look!
I've gone back to my Sleek Makeup Series and done a look using only eyeshadows from the Ultra Matts V2 Palette. This is my favourite palette from Sleek and comes with me whenever I go away, I love it! I don't know why I haven't done a look with this palette sooner, it was so easy! There's so many different choices which would've all made lovely looks but I fancied adding some blue eyeliner so went for a subtle pink/purple too :) hope you like it.
I love using matte eyeshadows, I find these ones by Sleek blend really well together which makes life a whole lot easier! For my base I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk and applied Dune to the inner half of my eyelid and Flesh to the outer half.
Next I used Maple in my crease and blending it upwards into Pillow Talk which I used as my brow highlight. To darken the outer corner I use a little bit of Highness but mainly Villan using a small pencil brush.
Under my eyes I used Maple and Villan, on my waterline is Stila Smudge Stick in Stingray.
To create my blue winged liner I used Lush's Control Eyeliner which I love!
Mascara is Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara and Eyelashes are Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store.

I hope you like my look! I absolutely love the V2 palette, it's definitely the easiest palette to get complete looks out of and I'm a huge fan of matte shades anyway so perfect for me!

Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Palette Look!

Hey guys! I have so many reviews for you guys but I'm still waiting to take the photos (hopefully will be done tomorrow) so for today I have another makeup look for you! My boyfriend's wonderful Mumma surprised me with a lovely gift when I came home from work the other day, the new Showstoppers palette from Sleek Makeup which is out in Superdrug in celebration of their 50th Anniversary.
So here's the look I've done, I hope you like!
Like all the colours from Sleek, they are beautifully pigmented and so easy to use! I love creating new looks with palette I haven't used before and I can see a lot of potential in this palette!
The colours in this palette all work so well together and there's a lovely mix of mattes, satins, glitters and frosts.
Colours from top left are: Paraguaya, Sunset, Me Myself & Eye, Bad Girl, Noir, Ultramattes V2
bottom left: Oh so special, Bohemian, Storm, Sparkle, Au Natural, Graphite.
I don't have all the palettes but I'm guessing that all the colours are there to represent past palettes? Some are obviously names whereas I don't know some of the others like Paraguaya or Bohemian.
To start my look I used my elf primer and NYX eye pencil in Milk and then went over my eye with Paraguaya as a base and a blending tool for my crease. Next I applied Bohemian all over my lid and into my crease as my colour base. Using Au Natural I went into the outer and very inner of my crease with a light pencil brush to create a shadow effect, which will make my eyes appear rounder by creating depth.
To darken the shadow and create further depth I used Storm in my outer crease and Me, Myself & Eye in the very centre of my eyelid.
In my inner corner I applied Sparkle and used Collection 2000 Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner in Purple.
My lashes are Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store and Mascara is Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara.
Under my eyes I applied Storm and blended it slightly with Bohemian to remove any harsh edges.
On my waterline is Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Rockstar.

And that's the look! I hope you like it, I think I'm going to try and get another look out using this palette soon! Seeing these pictures again makes me remember how many ideas I had!

See you soon!

Disney Series: Tinkerbell - Peter Pan

Hey Guys!
It's been so long since I've done a Disney Inspired look I thought one was well overdue! I haven't played around much with my Flash Palette from Makeup Forever either so this was the perfect opportunity.
For this Disney inspired look I've chosen to recreate Tinkerbell! I wasn't a huge Tinks fan when I was a kid but she's definitely grown on my in recent years!
Hope you like my look!
This look was so fun to recreate! I love it when I get a clear image in my head of what I want something to look like - and the pixie dust topped it off perfectly! Definitely Tinks!
Now this isn't the 'original' Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, this little starlet has plenty of her own movies now!
To start this look I used ELF Primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base. Next I applied BAMM! from Sleek Makeup's V1 Palette onto my eyelid and then applied the top two yellow shades from my P88 palette from the born pretty store over the inner two thirds of my eyelid to add some yellow shimmer.
I applied Adam's Apple from Sleek's Garden of Eden palette into my crease and blended upwards. To darken my crease, I used Cricket and Dragonfly from the V1 palette and finally Fern from the V2 palette right in the outer corner to really darken the greens and create a shadow effect.
To finish my eyeshadow I used POW! from V1 as my brow highlight and Cricket and Fern under my lower lash line.
Next is eyeliner... Very simple - It's the white from the Flash Palette! Soo creamy!
To apply my Bellapierre Gold Holographic Glitter I used the Bellapierre Clear Eyeliner Base which is my saviour! I'd be lost without it!
Finally I applied my Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara and a set of Eylure's #100 lashes.
Last but not least I created an ombre effect on my waterline using the white from Flash Palette and different shades of green eye shadows.
And that's the look! I hope you like my Tinkerbell recreation! I do have another Disney Inspired look ready to put up too! Might be my Friday post...

Sleek Snaphots Look #2

Hey guys!
I know I said I was going to do a look using Sleek's V2 palette, but I opened Snapshots and Sunset just looked so beautiful I couldn't resist it!
I hope you like my look!
It's so bright and fiery! This look really came alive in the photos - so summery!
To start this look I used my ELF primer and NYX JEP in Milk all over my eyes.
As a base for my eyelid and crease I used Washed Ashore, and then blended Sand Walker into my Crease.
Next, I applied Tequila Sunrise all over my eyelid, and used Sunset to define my outer corner and crease.
I went back over with Sand Walker and Washed Ashore to make sure it was well blended out!
In my inner corner I applied Martini, and Tequila Sunrise under my eyes.
My eyeliner is Urban Decay Perversion Liquid Liner, and on my lashline is Bourbon khol liner by Urban Decay.
Mascara is Urban Decay Super Curling Mascara and my eyelashes are of course Eylure #100's.
So that's my look! I hope you like it, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Inglot Eyeshadow Look

Hello guys! Sorry I've been gone so long! I've recently got a new job so I haven't had as much free time as I did before. I've got a few days off now though so hoping to get some more posts ready!
Every since I got my new Inglot shades, I've wanted to play around with them - finally I got the chance! I hope you like my look!
Inglot shade 369, the light blue, was so pigmented and easy to blend, a great surprise from such a pastel colour. Not at all chalky and pay off was fantastic, I will definitely be visiting Inglot sometime soon for some similar colours!
I've blended it with Highness and Villan in the very outer corner, from Sleek V2 Palette, and the pink is a shade from my P88 Palette from Born Pretty. Eyeliner is Control from Lush and currently my favourite liner! Such a beautiful colour and an easy way to add a pop of colour to your look when rushing your makeup!
In my inner corner I've added Inglot shade 24, which I am also loving. It has such a gorgeous shimmer which lasts all day. Under my eye I carried on shade 24 until the middle of my eye and blended it out into my outer corner using Ink from Sleek V2 Palette.

I didn't get as far as applying eyelashes until I RUINED this look with mascara all over my top lid -_- there was no coming back from the mistake I made...but it's still a lovely look, which I wore to work the next day!
I hope you like it, let me know what you think!
I'm thinking a new Sleek Palette Look next maybe? We'll see...

Summer Sunset Makeup Look

Hey guys!
I seem to be posting a lot of makeup looks at the moment, I hope you don't mind!
I have a few more product reviews coming later this week!
But for now, another look. This one was inspired by some gorgeous summer sunset images I've seen on holiday brochures (a girl can dream) and I instantly wanted to do a look, I hope you like it!
To prime my eyes I used ELF eye primer (costs £1.50 and it's amazing) and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk.
Next I applied the bright coral shade from my P88 Palette from Born Pretty all over my eyelid.
In the crease and outer corner of my eye I went in with Meteoric (Sleek Celestial Palette) and Maple (Sleek UMV2)
To darken my crease I applied Villan and Highness (Sleek UMV2) with a stiff pencil brush.
To blend the colours together and soften the edges I used a baby pink shade from the P88 Palette. Finally I added Blanc Type by Mac to by brow bone and inner corner, and the eyeshadow is done.
After I took the pictures I did add Oyster from Sleek's Lagoon Palette and it looked gorgeous! For this look though, I wanted the attention to be on the eyeliner.
The eyeliner I used for my wing is Urban Decay Perversion 24/7 liquid liner, and then I went over the top half with Eldorado - such a sparkly gold.
Finally I used Stila Stingray to line my waterline, Max Factor Excess Mascara and my favourite lashes, Eylure #100's and the looks a good'un.

I loved this look and hated having to take it off! Although it's bright it was actually really wearable and is definitely going to be a look I will recreate for myself sometime :)
I hope you like this look, I would love to know your thoughts!

Glitter Me Pink Eyeshadow Look!

Hey guys, I've got another makeup look for you today, I hope that's alright!
This started out as something completely different to what it actually is. I was trying to do a look based around an Inglot shade but it just wasn't sparkly enough for me.
Obviously when something isn't sparkly enough what do you do? Add glitter! I hope you like it.

To begin this look I used ELF primer and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as my base.
When using bright colours I always use my NYX JEP in Milk as it makes the colours more vibrant.
I started by adding Meteoric (Sleek Celestial Palette) all over my eyelid, and Maple (Sleek Ultra Matts V2) to define my crease.
As my 'main' colour I added shade 613 from Inglot over the inner 2 thirds of my eyelid - where the glitter is now.
To darken the outer third of my crease I used Flora (Sleek Garden of Eden Palette).
To highlight my brow bone, and blend out the crease colours I used Blanc Type by Mac, and applied Pink Jewell (Sleek Lagoon Palette) to the corner of my eye to highlight.
Next I applied Eyeliner, which was Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner in Perversion.
This is when I realised I wasn't completely happy with the look, and decided to add glitter! I've never been able to get on with glitters before so I was chuffed when it worked! I've never been able to find a product that's worked for me and the glitter, to get it to stick to my eye and not crease or dry out and fall off!
FINALLY I have found a product (actually my sister bought it for me for my birthday!) So, I used Bellapierre Clear Eyeliner Base to apply my MAC glitter in Pink.
Onto the few final steps... I added my Max Factor Excess Volume Mascara and Eylure Lashes in #100. I touched up my Perversion eyeliner and added Stila Smudge Stick in Stingray to my waterline and voila! My look is complete :)
So that's today's look, I hope you like it! Now I've found a glitter base I can work with I can't wait to see what looks I can do! Prepare for more glitter...

Lush Intuitive Makeup Look! Aka...The Tizzy Look!

Hey guys,
My wonderful best friend, Tizzy bought me one of Lush's cream eyeshadows as part of my birthday present (she knows me too well) so I thought seeming as I am missing her so much I'd do a look just for her! I moved last month to Cambridge from the Isle of Wight and I don't know how I've coped so long without her D:
I hope you like my look!
Lush Intuitive is a golden lime-green, shimmery cream eyeshadow which dries within a few seconds making it perfect for layering, but if you're quick enough it works as a great eyeshadow base too.
I absolutely adore the little bottles the emotional brilliance products come in! They look so cute lined up on my makeup table.
At first glance this colour might not seem to be everyone's taste but it's definitely worth a swatch. If you layer this colour up you get a beautiful vibrant green with golden shimmer, however if you want something more subtle then just use a little and you get a wash of gold shimmer with a slight green tone which would look beautiful with hazel eyes.
I used ELF primer as my base, and added Intuitive over my eyelid a couple of times to build up a good solid colour. To set the colour I used Fig from Sleek's Garden of Eden Palette as it's a pretty good match!
From Sleek's Ultra Matts V1 palette I used Cricket and Dragonfly to darken the crease and Pow! on my brow bone. To blend out the crease I used Adam's Apple from Garden of Eden, and Fern from Ultra Matts V2 in the outer corner of my eye to create a darker shadow effect.
To highlight my inner corner, I added Oyster from Sleek's Lagoon palette (love this shade!) and to line my lower lash line I applied Intuitive, and Fern.
My winged eyeliner is Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion and Stila Smudge Stick in Stingray to line my waterline. Both are my go to liners, I'd be lost without them!
Eyelashes are my favourite Eylure #100 and mascara is Max Factor Excess Volume.
So that's my look! I hope you like it :)

Sleek Celestial Palette Look!

Hey guys!
I finally got around to doing a look using Sleek MakeUps's Celestial Palette, but then I noticed that my last 4 posts were all Sleek MakeUp looks so I've held this one back a few days!
I tried to do so many looks using just this palette but I think I was having a few off days. Finally I've done a look I'm happy with and it would have been perfect for Valentines, but nevermind! There's so many 'Valentine's Look' posts I didn't really want to join them so I stayed away! I hope you like my look...
Really I should have shot this look during the day, but I always seem to get inspiration at night - It was so shimmery and pretty it's a shame the camera didn't pick it up as well!
Anyway, here's my look! It's a shimmery, smoky pink/purple eye with subtle black liner and lashes.
The super sparkly palette! I love the matte/glitter combo shades, even though it does leave a bit of fall out they are so versatile! Great for adding colour into the crease, whereas shimmers are so forgiving.
L-R: (top row) Solar, Astral Blue, Aurora, Galactic, Earth Shine, Dark Matter
(bottom row) Stargaze, Saturn's Ring, Meteoric, Terrestrial, Lunar, Eclipse.
My favourite shades from this palette are Aurora - gorgeous teal green with glitter, and Meteoric - Matte deep pink/ terracotta shade.
My lease favourite, definitely Terrestrial. If the pigmentation was better it would be an amazing shade, because it's so different. But I guess that's why it's so hard to find! The pigment in pastel shades usually are lacking umph!
I started with Meteoric all over my lid and up into my crease, then darkened my crease using Saturn's Ring and Astral Blue. Next, I took Solar and packed it onto my lid, making it soo sparkly and gorgeous! I took Meteoric and Astral Blue onto my lower lash line also and Stargaze and Galactic in my inner corner to brighten the eye.
I darkened my crease for a more dramatic look using Earth Shine and used Dark Matter for my eyeliner.
My eyelashes are Eylure's #100, which I picked up in John Lewis for about £4! So cheap in there. Mascara as always is Mac Plush Lash and Benefit They're Real.

And that's the look! I hope you like it, and I can't wait to get some more looks going!

Sleek Garden of Eden Palette Look!

Hey Guys,
Sorry I've not posted in forever! So much going on in January, it was my birthday, then I went to the Isle of Wight to see my family, and since being back in Cambridge I've been job hunting which has got to be one of the most depressing things I've ever done! I'm applying for jobs I really don't want because I haven't heard back from the one I do want... I'm not good at this patience thing!
Anyway!
Just a quick post today to show you guys a look I create with the new Garden of Eden Palette from Sleek!
I've always loved their palettes and use them on a daily basis, so when a new one comes out you can bet I'm the first one in line to get it. So, here's my look...
I was struggling with my lighting at this stage so I've only got two photos, sorry! I now have new lighting and everything is back to normal, wohoo! I hate it when you do a look you like, but you can't capture it!
I found it hard to create a look using just this palette, I think my inspiration wondered off for a while but I'm hoping it's back now! I really want to get out some more looks!

Eyeshadows I used were:
Flora - in the crease and lower waterline
Forbidden - Blending out Flora
Gates of Eden - Eyelid
Entwined - over crease
Tree of Life - Eyeliner and under eye
Fauna + Fig - lower lash line
Eve's Kiss - inner corner

Primer
E.L.F eye primer
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

Mascara
MAC's Plush Lash
Benefit's Their Real

Eyelashes
Eylure #100

I hope you like my looks, I promise there's more to come!

Sleek Makeup Garden of Eden Palette Review & Swatches

Hey guys!
I was so lucky today to get the new Sleek i-Divine Palette from Superdrug! They didn't have it on the shelf so I asked when it's due to come out, and she said next week but I could have one now! Happy girl right here!
So, I've quickly rushed home so I could takes some photos and get a blog post up straight away!
I've never noticed before but Sleek actually gives you suggestions on how to use the shades to create different looks! They are posted on the back of the Limited Edition packaging. I've just hunted for some other boxes and noticed it on the Celestial Palette too. May have to give some of them a go, they sound interesting!
Look how gorgeous the shades are! None of the photos I've seen have been able to go this palette justice. There's a great mix of mattes, shimmers and matte/glitters (which seems pretty new to Sleek, and I'm loving it!) that remind me of the ones from Inglot but I might actually pretty Sleeks version - the glitter isn't lost at all on application.
I seriously can't wait to create some looks with these colours! Simple green and mauve smoky eyes come to mind straight away, but I wonder how creative some people with get with this palette. Fingers crossed for a burst of inspiration later!
Now on to Swatches! Here's the top row, L-R:
Gates of Eden - A warm peachy gold, almost copper but not quite there
Eve's Kiss - a metallic lilac. Swatch doesn't do it justice, over NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk this would be amazing
Paradise on Earth - Metallic taupe/mauve, perfect eyelid colour for a smoky look
Python - Again a metallic finish, chocolate brown
Forbidden - a matte taupe with gold fleck of glitter, not as pigmented as I would have liked, but over the right base
Flora - a dark brown with a purple tinge. Sleek's dark matte shades always seem to have amazing pay off. I can see myself using this one a lot!
Entwined - Another matte glitter, pretty much a darker version of Forbidden
Adam's Apple - Sadly I love the name more than the colour. Matte, apple green shade, hopefully NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk will be able to bring this shade to life!
Fig - I don't know why this shade wasn't called olive! It's exactly what it is. Metallic finish
Evergreen - Metallic finish (I love sleeks metallics) true green.
Fauna - Metallic finish again, gorgeous deep green with a tinge of gold, stunning!
Tree of Life - Beautiful matte dark green, reminds me of a greener version of Orbit from Sleeks UltraMatts V2 palette

Every shade in this palette is absolutely stunning and I've never been disappointed by Sleek. I now own 10 of their palettes and still get excited when new ones come out! The quality of the product for the price is unbelievable.
I can't wait to start creating some looks!

Sleek Snapshots Palette Look!

Hello everyone!
I was going to leave this look for a few more days, but I love it too much so I thought I'd post it now!
I recently got 4 more Sleek palettes, some I was lucky enough to get for Christmas, and I want to do a look using every one! Or maybe two or three...
So here's the first look, using the Snapshots Palette!
http://enchantedmakeup.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/sleek-snapshots-palette-look.html
The colours in this palette are incredible to work with. Some swatch a little different to how they look in the pan, which I kind of like, makes a nice surprise! Humming Bird has an amazing golden shimmer which you can't tell until applied.
This is what the pretty palette looks like! The colours are: TOP (L-R) Summer Breeze, Sand Dollar, Kiwi Flower, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird, Tequila Sunrise
BOTTOM (L-R) Sand Walker, Washed Ashore, Sunset, Green Iguana, Purple Haze, Magenta Madness.
I started with ELF primer, and NYX jumbo pencil in milk as my base. I then used Sand Walker on a small, flat angled brush to line where I wanted my crease.
Next, I patted on Summer Breeze using a small C brush onto my entire lid.
Using Purple Haze I went over Sand Walker to define my crease and blended slightly.
Using a small fluffy pencil brush I blended Magenta Madness into the Purple Haze and upwards. Using a pencil brush, I went over the crease with Purple Haze again and blended into the outer half of my lid. To create a smoother transition I finished my lid with Green Iguana.
In my inner corner I applied Sand Dollar (which I love!) and used Purple Haze and Sand Dollar under my lash line. I applied Purple Haze with a flat brush on my waterline.
Eyelashes are #100 from Eylure and my mascara as always is MAC Plush Lash and Benefit They're Real. They were beautifully together!
So that's my look! I hope you like it as much as I do! I can't wait to do another look with this palette, but first, a look with all the others!
I hope you like it! And thank you for all your lovely comments! It always brightens my day reading them :)
