Urban Decay Electric Palette Look #2!

Hey guys,
I am having so much fun with the Urban Decay Electric Palette! I can't get over how pigmented and flawless the pigments are.
I know I've only just put a look out but it took me soo long to do I didn't want to wait around any longer for another!
I am so tempted to wear this look out tomorrow! It's crazy bright but it looks amazing - I can't believe how well the colours blend together!
In this look I have used Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, Urban and Chaos. So half the colours in the palette!
I started with ELF cosmetics primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base and Slowburn on my entire eyelid.
Next I applied Savage into my crease and blended out with Mac's Blanc Type, then darkened my crease using Jilted.
For a finishing touch I applied Aura from UD's Glinda Palette.
To my lashline I applied Chaos very closely to my lashes, to later darken Urban which went over the top, and blended out with blanc type - to create a type of gradient effect.
On my waterline is Rockstar 24/7 pencil from Urban Decay, and to create my wing I applied Perversion liquid liner.
...I think I'm a bit of an Urban Decay Junkie!
Lashes are the Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store and Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara.
So that's today's look, I hope you like it as much as I do! This is definitely a favourite of mine from recent months looks :)

Urban Decay Electric Palette Look!

Hey guys!
I'm sorry I've been gone for a while, I've had a lot of hours at work lately and it's completely tired me out! I've had this look in my back pocket for a while and I absolutely love it! I needed to put it up asap - I'm just annoyed asap took so long!
Anyway here's the look, a bit picture heavy! I hope you like it :)
As always I started with my Elf primer and NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk as my base.
To start my look, I applied Thrash over the inner two thirds of my eyelid. I cannot believe how pigmented this shadow was! I was expecting Thrash, Savage and Slowburn to be maybe a bit clear but the colour payoff is insane!
In the outer third and in my crease I applied gonzo which came out a stunning sky blue over NYX JEP in Milk, and sea blue over Thrash. In the very outer crease I use Fringe and a little Chaos.
On my brow bone I blended in Mac's Blanc Type with Gonzo to create a smoother finish and worked both shades of Aura from Urban Decay's The Great and Powerful Oz, Glinda Palette into my inner corner for a little bit of shimmer.
My eyeliner is Urban Decay's Perversion Liquid Liner and Lashes are the Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store.
Under my lower lashes I applied Slowburn which is a gorgeous, bright shimmery orange shade.
On my waterline is Eyeko Skinner Kohl Liner in a light pink shade which I am loving at the moment. I do love using black eyeliner but it can make your eyes look so much smaller sometimes. The payoff in Eyeko's liners are fantastic and definitely worth the price.
Mascara is Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara and that's the look done!
I hope you like this look guys, fingers crossed I will have something new for you soon!

American Makeup Haul!

Hey guys, thought I better get back into blogging properly!
Shopping for makeup in America was just amazing! I think my boyfriend got bored very quickly of me dragging him around the shops, but I've never been into a Sephora or Ulta before. OH. MY. GOD. It's like heaven! Everything was so much cheaper too! I loved it and can't wait to go back some day!
Anyway, here's some pictures of what I picked up, I can't wait to get some looks going! And sorry about some crappy photos! It started to get dark really early and my set up space sucked!

Well I hope you liked my purchases! I'm sure I'll do more detailed reviews of the products in the future and they'll all feature in some looks I'm planning!
I can't wait see what I can come up with!

'Gold Smoke' Eye look...

Hey guys,
As you know, I wasn't very well last week so I haven't done any looks recently, so as soon as I started feeling better I was in my makeup chair!
The lighting wasn't fantastic, still getting yellow shadows, but I felt inspired the other night, and really want to use some products I haven't used for a while and play with the new lashes I made! So here's my look :)
It's a pretty simple look but the gold really does make it look stunning in person! I won't say too much about it, listing the products I used would take forever! They were from loads of different palettes because I was just playing around but this would be an easy to get look from using either the Urban Decay Naked or Naked 2 palettes, or Sleek Storm Palette.
Instead of using a matte white highlighter, like I usually do, I use a cream shadow with gold shimmer which definitely worked better than my usual go to! It actually seemed to make my eyes look bigger by taking the complete look higher, and using a darker shadow nearer my inner corner, and just using the gold on the centre third of my eyelid (and slightly bringing it in with my blending brush) made my eyes look a lot rounder too.
I made my false eyelashes using a pair I got ages ago from ELF which I'd never touched, and using duo glue, I added the gems which were from a nail art kit I picked up in River Island. They were my first attempt at making them so I was pretty happy! Although there's always room for improvement!
So that's my finished look :) I have fallen in love with my mascara from Benefit (They're Real) which I did at first hate! But wearing it over Mac's Black Lash makes my lashes so much thicker and longer! I love it!

I might start doing some tutorials of some of my looks, if you think it's a good idea then please leave me a comment and let me know!
Hope you've all had a nice weekend!

Sand & Sea Eye Of The Day... using Sleek & Urban Decay

Hey guys, It's been too long since I've posted looks! Getting back into it with avengence now!

I was playing around with makeup earlier and this is basically what I came up with :) I live on an Island so spend most of my time down the beach! This is a look to remind me that summers just around the corner! Can get back to the beach soon, wohoo!

I first primed my eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion and then added a light layer of NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk over my eyelid as a solid base for the eye shadows.

All the eye shadows I used were from Sleek's Ultra Matts V2 Palette which I LOVE! I love all of the Sleek palettes I have, the pigment and blendability of the colours are amazing and the price is fantastic! Totally worth it and great for beginners; You can get so many looks out of just one Palette!

I used Dune in the inner third of my eyelid and blended it into Orbit, which I used to cover the rest of my eyelid and also take it over the crease. To define the crease I used Ink and smoothed out the edges with Pillow Talk. This alone was a beautiful look but I added a little bit of shimmer by using SideCar from Urban Decay over the inner half of my eyelid.

I followed on the line of Orbit under my lower lash line just to finish the look off. To me, if there's no colour under the lower lash line, it just looks unfinished! I didn't go the whole length of my lash line though because it makes your eyes look closed off and a lot smaller. By stopping just under the pupil it will make your eyes look a lot bigger and brighter!

For eyeliner, I've done a double line and wing using 2 Gel Eyeliners from E.L.F. The first one I used was a turquoise blue with a slight gold shimmer in D20 (It doesn't say a name sorry) and the second with a navy blue called Midnight.
To finish it off I used MAC Plush Lash Mascara and Urban Decay, Perversion 24/7 Pencil Eyeliner just on my waterline.

I hope you like the look! Please let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. I like finding new blogs at the moment so if you've got one please send me a link!

Love & Peace x

Happy Endings...

Hello blogging world! Wow this is weird, I haven't done it in so long! I don't want to bore you with why I haven't blogged in ages but I basically lost all motivation and people brought me down. However, It's a new year and I have beautiful people in my life that make me smile and give me the encouragement I need to pursue my love of makeup! I feel like a very lucky girl!

Seeming I haven't done a makeup look in so long for you guys, I thought I'd start the year with one! I haven't really done them recently because I haven't had a decent camera but my wonderful boyfriend has kindly lent me his! Isn't he a sweetie...

I couldn't be happier with the quality of the pictures! I'm so fussy when it comes to lighting etc that it's nice I can relax so much with a camera! Please Click on the pics for a better look! They look amazing, I hate how they come up so small on here!

I've fallen in love with an OPI nail polish called Rally Pretty Pink, which is a gorgeous pinky, purple shimmer with a golden duo chrome, I would of uploaded a picture of it but it's a bitch to photograph so apologies! Anyway, my look is basically based on that polish, which I thought might be a cool idea for a makeup series? Corresponding makeup to your favourite nail polish... what do you guys think? (that's if anyone reads this! If you're like me, you just look at the pictures!)

The shadows are all a bit of a mix really. I started with Urban Decay PP, NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk and then patted on the purple shade from the Sleek Idivine Acid palette all over my eyelid and blended it out with MUA's shade 18. To draw attention to the centre of my eye I used Highness from Sleeks Ultra Matts V2 palette in the outer and inner corners of my eye and also lightly in the crease and blended out on my lower lash line. This alone looks amazing, but I love a bit of sparkle so I added UD's Half Baked to the centre of my eyelid and slightly blended it out. To Finish off I used Pillow Talk from Sleek's V2 palette as a brow highlight, UD's Perversion eyeliner pencil and Mac's black lash Push Lash mascara.

I didn't really know what to do with my lips so I went GOLD! I started with Natural Nymph from ELF, then applied a clear lipgloss and patted on Urban Decay's Half Baked eyeshadow. Finally I added Fairy Cake lipgloss from Butter London and lips are done. PS: WEIRD uploading a photo of my lips. I hate them!

And that is that! Look done :) I forgot how much I LOVE playing around with makeup and trying new things! I've recently bought loads from Urban Decay (fallen in love <3 again!) and can't wait to try out the Glinda Palette!

I think I'm gonna do a quick post from my phone at some time, just to show you all the looks I've done and stuck on instagram (soo lazy) because I really loved some of them! But I'm definitely going to start photographing them properly for you guys!

I hope you like it and can't wait to do another look! Please let me know what you think by writing a comment below :)

Love as always! x

SHIT, I've hit pan!

Hello there! It's been a while...
I'm slacking, I know! I promise to post more soon!!! I've got a week off work and no plans, so I'll make sure to post more then!!

I've been trying my hardest not to buy ANY makeup untill I go on holiday at the end of the month (going to Florida - will buy SO much when I'm away!)
So, I'm using up a lot of my products, and It's killing me, not being able to buy more!! I love pretty much every product in this post...

Look at the empty pans.... I want to cry a little.

E.L.F Complexion Perfection: I think this is pretty much a love or hate product. I HATE dewy looking skin, just can't deal with it. So once I've applied my foundation this little beaut goes on straight away! With all the colours mixed it can make you look pale... however, I'm pale anyway so it's not noticeable! It has a lovely matte finish and evens out any redness on my cheeks leaving my skin looking so perfect!

My No7 Blush in Soft Damson has been my go to blush since the beginning of time! You can build the colour up for something dramatic but a quick pat on your cheeks will leave you with a beautiful natural flush. I like to wear a lot of colour on my eyes so I tend to always choose this blush as otherwise, it will be colour overload! I'm not even sure if you can still get this colour... I might actually cry if I can't purchase another!!!

17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer was the first primer I ever bought! I used it for a while and then went over to E.L.F's mineral primer (not fantastic...) and after finishing that, converted back to this one! Neither of them in my eyes are fantastic but photo flawless is definitely better! It has a little colour but nothing that's going to make a huge difference to your face. The E.L.F primer was clear whereas this one is kind of white... I need to search for a new primer! Any ideas?

Well hello there love of my life Line Definer Liquid Eyeliner by Maybelline, how ya doin? Without this pen my life has no meaning. As much as I love gel eyeliner, It's a pain in the ass when you're in a rush! And I don't actually own a plain black liquid liner. Brushes annoy me. This little pen is a gem! I would seriously be lost without it! It's so easy to use and get the perfect wing! Also if you're going for a cat eye, THIS is what you need. You can get such great lines with it!!! I may buy 5 more... never want to run out! I've used many pen liners and this is by far my favourite!

I religiously used Urban Decay Primer Potion for years until I bought E.L.F's Eyelid Primer and realised how shockingly bad UDPP is! It's true. I could probably buy 14 of these for the same price as one UDPP, and it's soo much better! I use this everyday when I wear eyeshadow and can't imagine life without it... however I'm almost at the end! D': I need to stay strong... wait for America and buy more there!!!

OK this product I know ever little about, apart from it was made by Gods to make your hair feel as soft as an angels feathers.
It's Authentic Cleansing Nectar by Devines and it's for your hair/body and smells like heaven. Very citrusy and fresh! I received it in my glossy box last month and adore it! So upset that i've used it all though! Will have to track it down and buy more! (If it's not a ridiculous price...I'm skint.)

Last but not least is my Barry M nail paint in Mint Green. It might look full in the picture but it's definitely not. Only just goes up to the Barry M sign! I bought this last year with about 5 other bright Barry M colours to do some nail marbling with and as awesome as they come out, It takes up a lot of product! I'm seriously in love with this colour and will definitely be purchasing another pastel green to replace it. I desperately want to try OPI's Mermaid's Tears from the POTC collection!

So there's the round up of my misery. I'm coming to an end of most of my favourite products! However, by the end of the month I'm going to be in Florida buying so much makeup it's going to be insane. I can't wait!!!

Love & Peace x
